Do you need to create a video? There are many reasons someone may want to make videos. You may be an aspiring YouTuber, a gamer that wants to record their gameplay, a professional that is tasked with making training videos for their work, or perhaps you have an all together different reason. Have you ever created a video? Whatever your reason for wanting to create a video and whatever your experience level, RecordCast has you covered.

What is RecordCast?

RecordCast is a free web based video recorder and editor. According to the folks at RecordCast:

Capture anything worth sharing on your screen using our all-in-one online screen recorder and video editor.

When they call their online recorder all in one they aren’t kidding. With RecordCast you can:

  • Record your screen.
  • Record your screen and webcam.
  • Record with just your webcam.
  • Add media to and edit your video projects.

RecordCast does all of these things very well. It is also extremely easy to use. Whatever your skill level you should have no problem jumping into video creation pretty quickly. One of the best things about it is that there is no installation. It is all done using your web browser.

System requirements:

  • A computer
  • A modern web browser
  • An internet connection

That’s it. RecordCast is portable. Do you use Windows, Linux, or Mac? It doesn’t matter. You can create videos with RecordCast on any of the major operating systems.

If you can’t afford to subscribe then, depending on what you are making videos for. the free plan should still work out great for you.
